For the studies, the researchers randomly assigned a group of 163 babies, aged seven to nine months, to be fed either one egg per day for seven months or no eggs at all. They measured the babies growth, collected their blood samples, level of chlorine, DHA, and other vital nutrients. In the end, it was found that the group of kids, who were given eggs every day had higher concentrations of choline, DHA, and several other important nutrients in their bloodstream. Additionally, they weren’t found to be allergic.
